Green Tean in Baku, Az for few days awaiting ferry After sailing through turkey, Georgia and into Azerbaijan, the green team have hit a small problem attemping to get over to Kaakhstan, the boat doesn't leave for three days!! Georgia, we found to be very friendly, with suicidal cows roaming around the roads here, that are partial to walking across the roads when you are driving past. The journey from the Georgian - azerbaijan border to Baku was very difficult, virtually a full days drive, to cap it off our main beam dipped headlights had failed the previous night and driving on full beam was interesting. One game we invented was to see how many flashes a car could make to tell you that your lights were on full beam before it went past - our record was five...we were very bored. We arrived in Baku, on wednesday morning and after finding our visas would not allow us to travel to either Kazakhstan or turkmenistan, we missed the ferries wednesday nigh and are curently holed up waiting for the next ferry to Kazakhstan. This poses several questions - will the car get on the ferry, will we be able to make it to mongolia by the 19th with no night driving? Watch this space readers...
