On the 30th April, the bidding closed on a 24yr old 2CV for sale on ebay, and the Green Team 2cv were declared the winners. Seventy Two hours later, the team embarked on a 500 mile round trip courtesy of National Express, Southern Rail and several major carrageways, to bring a previously unseen 2CV, from darkest sussex, to sunny Bolton.

Minor issues such as a loose bonnet and non-functioning brakes were swept aside with duct tape and gear braking, and believe it or not the car managed to complete the journey without braking down, overheating or crashing.p>
